County Officials Express Gratitude To Storm Cleanup Crews

County officials are thanking crews and volunteers for pulling together to help with cleaning up debris caused by severe storms that swept across Christian and Trigg counties over the weekend.

Trigg County Judge-Executive Hollis Alexander says he is grateful for all those who pitched in and helped.

He notes most of the storm damage occurred in two areas in Trigg County.

The Friday night weather event that caused damages in Trigg County then pushed into Christian County where the severe storms spawned two weak EF-1 tornadoes.

Christian County Judge-Executive Steve Tribble praised county road crews and volunteers who put in a lot of hours over the weekend to clean up areas impacted by the severe storms and tornadoes.

He adds most of the damage occurred in the southern portion of the county.

Fortunately, there were no injuries or fatalities reported from the weekend storms in Christian County.
