Lt. Governor Hopeful Seeking Votes In Cadiz

Former State Auditor Adam Edelen’s running mate, Gill Holland says they are feeling confident about their campaign for the 2019 Gubernatorial Primary.

During a stop at the Janice Mason Art Museum in Cadiz Wednesday afternoon, Holland says he and Edelen are excited about the campaign and feel like they have all the momentum going into the Democratic primary on May 21.

Holland says they need to find some dedicated financing streams for the pension, as well as funding education. He adds they feel there are a lot of opportunities to fund both.

He also stated they need some forward thinking when it comes to healthcare in the state.

Holland says the state needs to build on tourism because they feel it’s a huge opportunity. He notes the Land Between the Lakes National Recreation Area is an underleveraged national tourist attraction that needs to be fixed.

Holland also planned to stop in Hopkinsville while in western Kentucky.Edelen is facing Attorney General Andy Beshear, and House Minority Floor Leader Rocky Adkins.
