WEATHER UPDATE

A cold front is knocking at our doorstep along with an upper level disturbance. This will increase our rain and storm chances as we go into this evening. Nothing severe is expected but a storm or two could be on the strong side with brief heavy rains and gusty winds. The good news is that it will be out of the area by Friday morning and sunny skies are expected. It will be a little cooler with highs around 70. Another system moves across the state over the weekend, bringing a quick-hitting shot of rain showers. Isolated to scattered thunderstorms are possible from Sunday night through Wednesday. With any of these storms, locally heavy downpours and lightning will be the primary concerns. A few strong to severe thunderstorms cannot be ruled out.

A Thought; In each of us, two natures are at war – the good and the evil. All our lives the fight goes on between them, and one of them must conquer. But in our own hands lies the power to choose – what we want most to be we are. Of all the liars in the world, sometimes the worst are our own fears. Focus on faith and grow your roots strong and deep so no one can make you believe in something that is not good for your soul. Wrong does not cease to be wrong because the majority share in it.
