The Pennyrile Children’s Advocacy Center is working to reach a milestone in the number of adults trained in the steps to protect children in the nine-county Pennyrile area.
Director Candra Barnett says the children’s advocacy center is dedicated to assisting families who have experienced a traumatic situation or event.

Barnett adds the fourth annual breakfast is a great way to let the community know about the program, with this year’s event to focus on a goal of getting more people trained to assist children and families.

There is no cost to attend the breakfast that will take place Tuesday, April 16, at 7:30 at the Hopkinsville Holiday Inn.
