A woman was injured when the SUV she was in was hit on Walnut Street Tuesday.
According to Hopkinsville Police, 35-year-old Sarah Elmore of Hopkinsville was northbound on Walnut Street when a she attempted to make a turn, and her vehicle was hit from behind.
The driver of the vehicle that hit Elmore reportedly got out hit the rear tail light on her vehicle then got back into their vehicle and fled, according to police.
Elmore’s passenger 37-year-old Lori Taylor was taken to the hospital for injuries.
