Two men involved in a police pursuit in Oak Grove in October in which shots were fired by an officer were among individuals indicted by the Christian County Grand Jury Friday.

Brandon Huff

32-year old Brandon Huff of Clarksville and 34-year old Dominic Marino of Oak Grove were indicted on charges of trafficking methamphetamine – less than two gram. In addition, Huff was indicted on three counts of first-degree wanton endangerment of a police officer, seven counts of first-degree wanton endangerment, first degree fleeing and evading police, and other offenses. Marino was also indicted on charges of trafficking heroin, tampering with physical evidence, knowingly receiving stolen property over $500 but under $10,000, promoting contraband and other offenses.

Dominic Marino

The charges lodged against the two men stem from the afternoon of October 2 when Christian County Sheriff’s Detective Captain Chris Miller reported deputies and officers with the Pennyrile Narcotics Task Force went to the Pilot Gas Station off of Interstate 24 on the Pembroke-Oak Grove Road to make an arrest on outstanding warrants on Huff and Marino. The two men reportedly tried to flee in a vehicle and drove toward a Task Force officer, who fired his weapon at the oncoming vehicle. Officers pursued the vehicle and were able to apprehend the two men in the area of Oak Grove City Hall just south of the gas station.

Matthew Bowles

The grand jury indicted 29-year old Matthew Dustin Bowles of Hopkinsville on charges of first degree fleeing or evading police and third-degree criminal mischief. The charges stem from October 3 when Hopkinsville Police attempted to serve Bowles with active warrants during a traffic stop on the Pennyrile Parkway and US 68 ramp and he ran from officers.

Trequan Lewis

25-year old Trequan Marquess Lewis of Hopkinsville was indicted on charges of tampering with physical evidence, using restricted ammunition during a felony, carrying a concealed deadly weapon, second degree fleeing or evading police and possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia while armed. Lewis was arrested by Hopkinsville Police when officers responded to a large fight involving several individuals with guns on McKee Street on September 28. Police reported Lewis ran from officers and tossed a gun before surrendering to officers. Police said they found a 9mm handgun near Lewis, a 9mm magazine with restricted ammo in his jacket, and marijuana in his pant’s pocket.

Mario Fredrick

The grand jury indicted 36-year old Mario Devon Fredrick of Hopkinsville on his fourth or greater offense of first-degree indecent exposure. Oak Grove Police reported officers responded to the Dollar General store in the 8400 block of Pembroke-Oak Grove Road on the night of October 13 for a man that was exposing himself in front of the store. Police said Fredrick was arrested and a criminal history showed he had three or more previous convictions for the same offense.
