A complaint about a loud motorcycle in Princeton Monday night led to the arrest of a Dawson Springs man on multiple charges, including wanton endangerment of a police officer.

Princeton Police officers responded to the complaint shortly after 11:20 p.m. on South Jefferson Street and found the motorcycle at the Circle K convenience store. Chief Chris King says when officers approached the operator, 31-year old Jason Hilt, he tried to flee on the motorcycle but the officer was able to grab him and hold the clutch. During a search of Hilt, police reportedly found suspected methamphetamine and paraphernalia. Hilt was also wanted on a Hopkins County bench warrant.

Hilt was charged with first-degree fleeing and evading police, first-degree wanton endangerment of a police officer, his second offense for possessing meth, and several other offenses.
