Planters Bank is kicking off its Season of Giving next week. 12 area nonprofit organizations will benefit from the annual giving campaign.
According to a release, Planters Bank has done this over the last five years and to date the bank and community partners have donated over $60,000 to the organizations. During the Season of Giving, Planters Bank works with local companies to private label items. After the bank purchases those items, 100% of the proceeds from the sale of each item at the Planters Bank location goes to the Season of Giving nonprofit agency supported by the branch.
This year, Planters Bank has partnered with Delectable Sweets in Clarksville to offer Mango Pineapple Habanero and Strawberry Habanero jams and Broadbent’s in Kuttawa to offer Hickory Smoked Country Bacon. They will each be $10 a piece.
Throughout the Season of Giving, supporters of the organizations may visit Planters Bank Facebook and Twitter pages to help them earn even more money. Planters Bank will share posts on their pages and will donate $1 for every like and $2 for every share on each featured post. Planters Bank will also donate $25 for each checking or savings account opened during the Season of Giving.
