Weather Update June 23, 2018

It has been a dry Saturday as expected and a good day for the Western Ky State Fair. But a cluster of storms is in Missouri and a disturbance will spread rain and storms back into the region later this evening. An isolated strong to severe storm or two cannot be ruled out but don’t appear likely. Some of the stronger storms will be capable of gusty winds, small hail, and torrential downpours. It looks like we will continue chances of rain and a few storms on Sunday and even into Sunday evening. Temperatures will start out on Monday in the upper 80s with a few showers and thunderstorms in the morning. But the rest of the week looks fairly toasty with highs in the lower 90s and higher humidity. A Thought; I don’t want to live in the kind of world where we don’t look out for each other. Not just the people that are close to us, but anybody who needs a helping hand. I cant change the way anybody else thinks, or what they choose to do, but I can do my part. I can tell you there are four things to learn in life: To think clearly without hurry or confusion; To love everybody sincerely; To act in everything with the highest motives; To trust God unhesitatingly. Then you can show the world that our greatness is not in things we do for ourselves, but in things we do for others.
