Final Pretrial Conference Set In Catlett Manslaughter Case

A final pretrial conference is scheduled for August in the manslaughter case against Desiree Catlett who is accused in the death of her infant.

Catlett appeared in Christian Circuit Court before Judge John Atkins with her attorney, Michael Thompson, who requested one last pretrial conference to see if they could resolve her case.

Judge Atkins agreed and scheduled the final pretrial on August 8th.

Catlett’s case went before a jury in Christian Circuit Court in April and ended in a mistrial when jurors could not reach a unanimous decision.

Catlett is charged with 2nd Degree Manslaughter in the October 2016 death of her 10-month old child, who police say was found not breathing at her home in Evergreen Park.
