A Hopkinsville man was arrested early Saturday morning for trafficking meth after police say they received a call he was selling drugs outside a convenience store. Hopkinsville Police responded to the call at Circle K on Russellville Road around 2:35am and observed the male standing at the corner of the building. Upon contact with the subject, identified as 25-year old Zachary Epperhart, police say they learned he had three active warrants.

During a search of Epperhart, officers reportedly found a small clear plastic baggie containing three small rocks suspected to be methamphetamine, a black scale, and a small glass jar with more clear baggies.

Epperhart was taken into custody and booked into the Christian County Jail charged with 1st Degree Trafficking in a Controlled Substance (Methamphetamine Under 2 Grams), and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
