Grace And Mercy Ministries will host its largest fundraising event of the year Thursday. It’s the 3rd Annual Banquet and Graduation Ceremony. During the ceremony, board chair Carolyn Self says they will celebrate the graduation of eight women who have been at Grace and Mercy twelve to fifteen months and are ready to transition back into the community with jobs and being restored with their children.
She notes the women will also share a brief story Thursday night about their past and their future.
In addition, attendees will be able to purchase delicious fudge and tickets available for sale and tickets for a benefit concert coming up March 10th featuring John Carter Cash, the son of Johnny and June Carter Cash.
As far as the Grace and Mercy Newly New Store, Self says it has been wonderful.
This past weekend, she adds time was spent preparing the White House.
Self says the event Thursday night will be at the James E. Bruce Convention Center. They have 91 tables, ten per table. She notes there are a few seats available at some of the tables, but they are almost filled. If you would like to attend, please call Grace and Mercy at (270) 498-9021.
