Project Linus Chapter Coordinator for Western Kentucky, Kelly Price says they are a volunteer non-profit organization that collects and makes handmade blankets to help provide comfort to children who have suffered from a serious illness, a tornado, or a tragedy.

They have several hundred blankets coming in from all the Project Linus Chapters across the United States in order to assist the local Chapter reach their goal, but she adds they still need help.

The blankets also include a Project Linus poem.

She says the blanket drive is Monday and they will be sorting the blankets and getting everything ready to transport to Marshall County.

According to Price, they will also be accepting donations of fleece to make the blankets Monday.

Price notes the blanket drive will be Monday from 3:00pm until 9:00pm in the suite next door to her business at 312 Main Street Suite #2. If you would like to contact Price, you can send her a message on her Tail Waggers Cadiz Facebook page, or call her at (270) 767-7297.
