Hamby Says No Merit To Trigg School Threat

Trigg County Schools Superintendent Travis Hamby says there was never a threat to students and staff after a possible threat was relayed to local law enforcement Thursday night. Hamby says he was given the all-clear Friday morning, but still chose to have extra law enforcement at the school.

Hamby says the safety of students remains the top priority.

The school will be conducting routine lockdown training next week in the school district. He says the training was scheduled this week but was postponed because of the events Tuesday in Marshall County.
