Shoreline Cleanup

Come volunteer! The storms dropped all kinds of litter all over our lakes, come and lend a hand to the cleanup efforts!
This area was heavily impacted by the recent tornados, the goal will be to remove as much man-made material from the shoreline as possible. To make this a success, we need your help.

Please Bring: water, closed toed shoes, personal work gloves, and dress appropriately for cold and windy weather.
Weather Warning:
If the weather interferes with our cleanup, we will reschedule for the same time and location on Sat. Jan. 22
If the Forecast Temperature for the cleanup falls at or below freezing, we will reschedule this activity.SAFETY ALERT:
Due to the nature of the debris, and potential for puncture/piercing injuries, We recommend : Sturdy work boots, preferably steel shank boots (to prevent punctures through the sole) and leather or cut/puncture resistant gloves. (a limited number of gloves will be available on site)
