Gingerbread House Competition

We invite you to join us for a Gingerbread House Competition. This event is a walk-through exhibition of the submitted gingerbread houses. Finish the tour off with a cookie and cocoa by the fire while listening to the Christmas story. The night is about celebrating this wonderful season together and earning some serious bragging rights!
Doors open 18-December from 6-8pm for viewing of all submissions. Winners announced at 7:45pm, must be present during announcement to win.
This is a competition judged by a selected panel. Prizes will be awarded, and the first-place winner receives a $200 Visa gift card. There is NO FEE to enter.

Rules and Details
-Must be constructed using only edible materials. The one exception to this is the base which can be made of any material but must be flat and no larger than 2 ft x 2 ft. This exception allows for safe transport to the event.
-Store bought products can be used but again must be edible.
-You do not have to enter the competition to attend the event, but you should!
-Judges will evaluate the following areas: Presentation, Style, Creativity, Variety of Materials, and Christmas Spirit!
-Must drop off your completed Gingerbread house at Living Hope Baptist Church on 18-December between the hours of 10am and 4pm. Judging starts at 4pm, we will still accept houses for display, not for competition entry.
-Must be present 18-Dec at 7:45pm when winners are announced to win.
