Memorial services for 64-year-old Sundae Sue Oakley of Cadiz will be held Thursday, May 28, 2026, at 11 a.m. at King’s Funeral Home with Rev. Rick McGowan officiating.
Visitation will be held from 10 until 11 a.m. Thursday, May 28, 2026, at the funeral home.
Sundae Sue Oakley was born September 3, 1961, in Germany, the daughter of the late Earl Thomas Oakley and Nola Nevalene McNeill Oakley. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Teresa Oakley, and brother-in-law, Charles Nadjek.
She passed away Monday, May 18, 2026, at her sister’s home.
Oakley was a graduate of Murray State University where she earned a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting. She was a member of Northwest Baptist Church.
She was also active in the Trigg County Quilters Guild, the Tuesday Night Owls Sewing Group, and Saturday Sit-n-Sew. During her career, Oakley worked as an accountant-bookkeeper for Ebonite International, Northwest Baptist Church, and most recently retired in March 2026 as an accountant-bookkeeper for New Work Fellowship.
Survivors include two sisters, Carol Halfast and husband Randy of Cadiz and Debra J. Kieser and husband Harold of Tell City, Indiana.
King’s Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
