Supper Club

The Museums of Historic Hopkinsville-Christian County and the Human Rights Commission of Hopkinsville-Christian County invite you to join The Supper Club: Inspiring Cultural & Culinary Conversations, an open group that will explore the diversity of our community through food. The club is open to anyone who loves food, conversation, and learning about other cultures through commensality, which means together at the table.
The Supper Club’s next meeting will be Thursday, June 4 and will meet at the Pennyroyal Area Museum at 6pm.This month’s program welcomes back Dr. Paresh and Mona Sheth who will be cooking special recipes of Indian heritage. Dr. Sheth is a neurologist now under the umbrella of the Jennie Stuart Health Provider Based Clinics, and Mona is actively involved in many aspects of the community. Both love to cook, and they maintain a friendly banter over who is the better chef.
They will demonstrate traditional dishes, and guests will have the opportunity to taste and experience the cuisine. Guests will take home a recipe and any unique ingredients required to cook the dish at home.
Please note that the date has been changed and was previously scheduled for June 11.
The cost to attend this delicious program will be $10.00 per person. Dates for upcoming Supper Club gatherings will be August 13, October 8, and December 10, 2026. All programs will be held at the Pennyroyal Area Museum at 6pm.
