Bro. Earl Grace, 88, of Hopkinsville

Brother Earl Grace, age 88, of Hopkinsville, KY, passed away on Sunday, May 3, 2026, at his home surrounded by his family of natural causes.

Funeral Services will be on Thursday, May 7, 2026, at Maddux-Fuqua-Hinton Funeral Home at 1:00 PM with Pastor David Harrison, Pastor Nicholas Greenman, and Brother Randy Grace officiating and burial to follow in Johnson’s Chapel Cemetery. Visitation will be at Maddux-Fuqua-Hinton Funeral Home from 4:00 PM until 7:00 PM on Wednesday, May 6, 2026. Maddux-Fuqua-Hinton Funeral Home has been entrusted by the family to handle the arrangements.

Mr. Grace was born in Pueblo, CO, on June17, 1937, the son of the late Jesse Grace and Nannie Mae Brown Grace. He worked in sales at Model Milk and Colonial Bread. He was the District Manager for S&H Greenstamps and was an Insurance Salesman for MetLife and New York Life. He began his preaching career at Little River Baptist Church and then went on to West Mt. Zoar Baptist Church until his retirement. Earl was a large supporter and was very active in Impact Ministries, he was a former member of both the Lion’s Club and the Christian County Gideon Camp and was very active in the Christian County Baptist Association. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother, Edward Grace.

Survivors include his wife of 70 years, Maltie “Betty” Marie Grace of Hopkinsville; his children, Lawrence Edward Grace of Hopkinsville, Deborah Marie Grace of Hopkinsville, Janet Lynn Grace of Nashville, TN, Jeffery Earl Grace of Hopkinsville, Chad Evan Grace of Hopkinsville; his brother, James Chester Grace of Crofton; his sister, Donna Lee Grace (Alan) White of Hopkinsville; his seven grandchildren, Heather McKinnis, Brandon Grace, Ryan Brown, Caitlin Brown, Jordan Grace, Bridget Greenman Mathis, and Nicholas Greenman; his fifteen great grandchildren, Kylee Grace, Nixon Grace, Mallory Ladd, Aubrey Morris, Emery Johnson, Remy Brown, Beau McKinnis, Madison McKinnis, Hadley Mathis, Althea Greenman, John Collie Greenman, Eliana Greenman, Sophia Greenman, Elijah Greenman, and Naomi Greenman; and his two great great grandchildren, Luna and BJ McKinnis.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made in his memory to Gideon’s International.
