The Way Christian Youth Center is preparing for its semi-annual yard sale fundraiser, set for Saturday, with organizers hoping for another strong turnout to support local youth programs.
Ann Schisler says the indoor event will run from 7 a.m. until 1 p.m. at The Way’s facility on Lafayette Street, located behind Trigg County High School. She says that while many yard sales start early, doors will not open before 7:00, with organizers asking attendees to wait until the official start time.
Schisler says most items at the sale will be available by donation.

Donations for the yard sale are still being accepted, with organizers encouraging the public to bring items to the gym beginning Thursday afternoon and throughout the day Friday. Any unsold items will be donated to support veterans, ensuring that contributions continue to benefit others even after the event concludes.
In addition to the yard sale, visitors can also enjoy a pancake breakfast hosted by the American Heritage Girls and Trail Life Boys. Sandy Finley says breakfast will be served from 7 a.m. until 10 a.m.

Schisler says the continued success of the yard sale and The Way’s programs is made possible by the generosity of local churches, businesses, and residents, noting that the facility is used daily to serve young people throughout the community.
