The Barkley Water District has several customers north of Cadiz under a boil water advisory.
Water District Superintendent John Herring says the boil water advisory is in place from and including Blanks Road, Guyette, Wadlington, Washington Ave. Robinson Ave, Main St. Cerulean, Church Street to Cerulean Cem. Road, Turner Rawls Street, Cerulean Hopkinsville Rd/624 including Jack Mize and Lakeland, Cave Spring St, Cobb Road to Ed Mitchell Rd, 124 Cerulean Rd including Devon Dr and Sugar Creek Rd, and Cerulean Bainbridge Rd to Dr. Hatcher Rd.
Herring says they had a 20 foot section of pipe break just before you get to Cerulean. Rock under the pipe caused the failure.
