Local historian, Bob Brame, will talk about MORE “country stores” that were in Trigg County. Each small community had a “store” and it supplied the staples needed for everyday life.
Many didn’t go to the BIG town of Cadiz but once per month. Bob’s mom stated that it would take her father all day to go to Cadiz and return. ALL OF 7 MILES!!!
