A Hopkinsville man was charged after he reportedly would not stop yelling at an officer and causing a disturbance on Colonette Drive on Sunday afternoon.
Hopkinsville Police say they were out with a female on a scooter, talking with her, when 48-year-old Joseph Anderson started yelling and cursing at the officer while drinking a beer.
He was reportedly told to go inside his house and did, but returned and started yelling again.
Police say he fled into the house after being told he was being arrested for disorderly conduct.
He is charged with second-degree disorderly conduct, attempted resisting arrest, second-degree fleeing or evading police, and alcohol intoxication in a public place.
