A teenager was rushed to a waiting helicopter after being shot on Oak Hurst Drive in Hopkinsville on Friday night.
Hopkinsville Police say they were called to a 15-year-old who was shot in the face at a home just off of Pyle Lane.
After further investigation, Police say it was found that the 15-year-old was shot by another juvenile inside the home.
Hopkinsville Fire Department Spokesman Captain Payton Rogers says the teenager was taken by Hopkinsville EMS to Jennie Stuart Health, where he was flown to Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville.
Rogers says the teenager was alert and conscious.
Police say they are still investigating the shooting, adding they are talking to everyone who was inside the home.
