Donna Kay Wade Payne, age 71, of Hopkinsville, KY, passed away surrounded by her family on Wednesday, March 25, 2026, at her home of natural causes.
The family has chosen cremation with a Celebration of Life Service to take place at 1:00 PM on Tuesday, March 31, 2026, at Maddux-Fuqua-Hinton Funeral Home with burial to follow in Riverside Cemetery. Visitation will take place at the funeral home that morning from 11:00 AM until the service hour at 1:00 PM. Maddux-Fuqua-Hinton Funeral Home has been entrusted by the family to handle the arrangements.
Donna was born in Hopkinsville, KY, on February 19, 1955, the daughter of the late Don Wade and Marth Virginia Lawson Drury. She worked as a factory worker and retired from TGASK. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Donal Ray Payne in 2017, her brothers, William Anthony Wade and Charles Allen Drury, and her stepfather, Paul Drury.
She is survived by her son, Brandon Payne of Hopkinsville, and several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made in her memory to Max’s Hope Pet Rescue.
