The Museums of Historic Hopkinsville-Christian County have a special event planned for Women’s History Month.
The museum’s ongoing History on Tap event, held monthly at the Hopkinsville Brewing Company, will look a little different this month. Thursday, March 26, museum Executive Director Alissa Keller will be joined by six local women who run non-profit organizations in downtown Hopkinsville, who will present short biographies about notable Christian County women.
Joined by Keller will be Melanie Noffsinger of United Way of the Pennyrile, Margaret Prim of the Pennyroyal Arts Council, Tiffany Luna of the Hopkinsville-Christian County Public Library, Francene Gilmer of the Christian County Literacy Council, Heather Lancaster of Sanctuary, Inc and Raychel Farmer of the Hopkinsville Human Rights Commission.
History on Tap is a free series that seeks to share local history in a relaxed, fun setting. March’s program will begin at 6:30 p.m.
