An Elkton man was charged with trafficking drugs after a traffic stop on US 68 at Main Street in Cadiz on Monday night.
Trigg County Sheriff’s deputies say they stopped a motorcycle driven by Jonas Stoltzfus for traffic violations and found he had a warrant for failure to appear.
He was also reportedly found to be in possession of a handgun and suspected meth. His passenger was reportedly cited to court for possession of marijuana.
He was arrested and charged with failure to illuminate headlamps, no tail lamps, rear license plate not illuminated, no registration plates, no insurance, improper display of registration plates, possession of a handgun by a convicted felon, and trafficking meth.
