A traffic stop on a stolen vehicle led to a warrant arrest on Pembroke Oak Grove Road in Oak Grove on Friday night.
Oak Grove Police say they located a vehicle that was reported stolen and identified the driver as 34-year-old Quincy Covington of West Chicago, Illinois, who stated it was his girlfriend’s car.
He was reportedly found to have a bag of marijuana in his pocket and a warrant for bond conditions and domestic battery out of Kendall, Illinois.
Covington was arrested and charged with failure to produce an insurance card, receiving stolen property, possession of marijuana, and no operator’s license.
