A wreck on Fort Campbell Boulevard at the intersection of Segler Drive in Oak Grove sent a motorcyclist to a Nashville hospital Friday night.
Oak Grove Police say they attempted to stop a motorcycle that was driving recklessly but the driver fled and they terminated the traffic stop.
The motorcycle was reportedly later seen again on Fort Campbell Boulevard southbound and sped up after seeing law enforcement then collided with a truck that was turning onto Fort Campbell Boulevard.
The motorcyclist was taken by Fort Campbell EMS to a waiting helicopter that flew him to a Nashville hospital due to his injuries.
