
A traffic stop on South Fowler Avenue in Hopkinsville led to drug trafficking charges for a Hopkinsville woman on Saturday night.
Christian County Sheriff’s deputies say they stopped a vehicle driven by 28-year-old Alexis Mayton for not using a turn signal, texting while driving, and excessive window tint.
In the vehicle, deputies say suspected meth and drug paraphernalia were found.
She was arrested and charged with trafficking meth, driving a motor vehicle using a hand-held mobile telephone, excessive windshield/ window tinting, and no insurance.
