If you hear some loud booms on Friday near the Bruce Convention Center, city officials say you shouldn't be alarmed.
An artillery unit hosting a Military Ball at the Bruce will fire approximately ten blank wax rounds, which will create very loud popping sounds.
They add that this is a scheduled ceremonial activity associated with the event.
