Memorial Services for 69-year-old Daniel Wayne Doench of Cadiz will be held Monday, March 9, 2026, at 1:00 p.m. at Linton Methodist Church with Rev. Steve Spitzer and Rev. Jerhord Roach officiating. Visitation will be on Monday, March 9, 2026, from 11:00-1:00 at the Linton Methodist Church.

Survivors include his wife of 42 years, Kathy Doench, Cadiz, KY; mother Sharon Daugherty Doench, Evansville, IN; daughters Leanna (Ryan) Jackson, Cadiz, KY; and Ruth (Jerhord) Roach, Evansville, IN; son Joshua (Amanda) Gregory, Evansville, IN; brother Doug Doench, Evansville, IN; sisters Susan (Keith) Montgomery, Evansville, IN; and Linda (Bruce) McDivitt, Evansville, IN;
Grandchildren Aleena (Jon) Woodard; Jerhord Roach, Jr.; Wyatt Jackson; Charli Gregory; Harper Jackson; and great-granddaughter Luna Woodard.
Daniel Wayne Doench was born in Evansville, IN, on November 12, 1956, to Sharon Daugherty Doench, Evansville, IN, and the late William “Bill” Doench. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his sister, Sarah Jane Champion.
Daniel Wayne Doench died on Tuesday, March 3, 2026, at Murray Calloway County Hospital.
Daniel was a member of the Linton Methodist Church. He began his career at AC Tilly for six years and then at Booneville Natural Gas for six years. He then moved to Cadiz in 1994 and started his own business, Quality Heating and AC. He was a volunteer fireman with the Linton Volunteer Fire Department and was an avid Fisherman. Dan was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and friend. He had a quiet strength and a generous heart, always ready to lend a helping hand or offer wise advice. His family was the center of his world, and the love he gave them will remain a lasting legacy
