Jo Ann (Humphries) Stanley, 86, Hopkinsville, KY passed away on Wednesday, February 25, 2026 at Christian Health Center, Hopkinsville, KY of natural causes.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Monday, March 2, 2026 at Lamb Funeral Home with Lewis Embry officiating and Dr. Joe Bufford assisting. Burial will follow in Kentucky Veterans Cemetery West.
Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. until the funeral hour on Monday, March 2, 2026 at the funeral home.
A native of Cerulean, KY, she was born March 5, 1939, the daughter of the late John Raymond Humphries and the late Annie Katherine (Hayes) Humphries.
Jo Ann worked in retail at the Shepherd Shop, but her calling was to be a mother to many. She was a child of the King and dedicated prayer warrior. Jo Ann dedicated her life to the prison ministries, jail ministry, Grace and Mercy, Alpha Alternative, WNKJ, and Trilogy. She was a member of Hillcrest Baptist Church.
