Woman Charged With Drug Possession During Traffic Stop

A traffic stop on West 7th Street in Hopkinsville led to drug charges for a Hopkinsville woman on Monday afternoon.

Hopkinsville Police say they stopped a car driven by 36-year-old Jeannie Harrison for a turn signal violation, and during the stop, they could smell the odor of marijuana.

After a search of the vehicle, police say a glass smoking device, marijuana, meth, and an unknown substance were located.

She was arrested and charged with failure to or improper signal, first-degree possession of a controlled substance, possession of meth, and marijuana.
