A Hopkinsville man was charged with fleeing from law enforcement during a theft investigation on North Drive on Tuesday morning.
Hopkinsville Police say 30-year-old Maurice Catlett took candy from a gas station on North Drive and fled on foot from law enforcement before being taken into custody on Canton Street in a backyard.
He is charged with second-degree fleeing or evading police and theft by unlawful taking.
