A Sour Lake, Texas, man was charged with severely assaulting his wife on South Virginia Street in Hopkinsville on Saturday night.
Hopkinsville Police say 31-year-old Sonny Williams punched his wife several times in the head, causing severe swelling and minor bleeding, before damaging her prescription glasses by throwing them against the wall, then took her iPhone and broke it and threw it in the toilet.
He was arrested and charged with second-degree assault and first-degree criminal mischief.
