Hopkinsville King Day Program Still On, Cold Weather Cancels March

The Hopkinsville Martin Luther King Day march has been canceled due to predicted cold temperatures, but the program will continue at Hopkinsville Community College.

The Human Rights Commission announced the decision late Sunday morning. The announcement indicates the Martin Luther King Day program will continue at 9:30 in the Hopkinsville Community College auditorium. The doors to the building will open at 9:00.

The school challenge will be sponsored by Tom Bell State Farm. Students will be able to check in at HCC before the program begins.

Raychel Farmers says a well-known minister will lead the speaking at HCC.
