A Hopkinsville woman was charged after a wreck on Greenville Road in Christian County on Thursday afternoon.
Christian County Sheriff’s deputies say 39-year-old Heather Williams was operating a disabled vehicle with no brakes that was being pushed by a second vehicle when she hit the back of a tow truck.
She reportedly fled the area after the crash and was located on Wade Road hiding in the backyard of a home.
Williams was arrested and charged with first-degree wanton endangerment, no operator’s license, and leaving the scene of an accident. She also had warrants for failure to appear and two counts of probation violation.
