Peggy A. Harrison, 95, of Hopkinsville, died at 2:05 A.M. Monday, January 12, 2026, at Jennie Stuart Medical Center.
Graveside services will be 1:30 P.M. Wednesday, January 14, 2026, at Riverside Cemetery with Rev. David Tucker officiating. Visitation will be on Wednesday from 11:00 A.M. – 1:00 P.M. at Hughart, Beard & Giles Funeral Home. Hughart, Beard & Giles Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
A native of Louisville, KY, she was born May 19, 1930, the daughter of the late Prentice and Mabel Ella Bilyeu Rogers. She retired as the office manager and the secretary/treasurer to the Board of Directors at the Kentucky New Era. She was a member of Second Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John P. Harrison; her sister, Nita R. Gellhaus; and her brother, William LeRoy Rogers.
Survivors include her nieces: Nita Kay (Steve Hargrove) Leavell of Cadiz, KY and Jessica (Moon) Harrison of Alexandria, VA; her nephews: Jim (Tami) Taylor of Hopkinsville, KY, Rich (Cheryl Powell) Harrison of Lexington, KY, and Jim (Brenda) Harrison of Georgetown, KY; several great nieces and nephews; and several great great nieces and nephews.
Memorial contributions are suggested to Second Baptist Church or the Salvation Army.
