Martha Stoneham Thomas, age 77, of Hopkinsville, KY, passed away peacefully on Sunday, January 11, 2026, at Diversacare of Martin in Martin, TN, of natural causes.
Private Family Graveside Services will be held at a later date in Rawlins Cemetery in Pembroke with burial to follow. Maddux-Fuqua-Hinton Funeral Home has been entrusted by the family to handle the arrangements.
Martha was born on April 10, 1948, in Hopkinsville, KY, the daughter of the late Paul S. Stoneham, Sr. and Vera Elizabeth Rawlins Stoneham. She was a homemaker, and a member of Hopkinsville Church of Christ. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband Lacy L. Thomas; her daughter, Emily Ruth Thomas Pyle; her brother, Paul S Stoneham, Jr.; and her sister, Margaret Lacey.
Survivors include her son-in-law, Jim Pyle of Hopkinsville and her grandson, Will Pyle.
