Details Released In North Wooldridge Road Arrest

A Hopkinsville man was charged after he reportedly damaged a police cruiser on North Wooldridge Road in Hopkinsville Monday night.

Hopkinsville Police say they were called for a disturbance with 34-year-old Nicholas White, who was possibly armed with a gun on Florence Street.

While investigating, White was reportedly located on North Wooldridge Road and jumped on the police cruiser, damaging the window, a mirror, and a door before dancing in the roadway.

Police say White had to be tased before being taken into custody and made threats to kill officers.

White was taken by Hopkinsville EMS to Jennie Stuart Health for treatment. Police say he may have been under the influence of some kind of substance.

White is charged with second-degree wanton endangerment of a police officer, resisting arrest, second-degree disorderly conduct, public intoxication, first-degree criminal mischief, menacing, and third-degree terroristic threatening.
