Country Stores of Trigg County

The Trigg County Historical Society presents local historian, Bob Brame, talking about the “country stores” that were in Trigg County. Each small community had a “store” and it supplied the staples needed for everyday life. Many didn’t go to the BIG town of Cadiz but once per month. Bob’s mom stated that it would take her father all day to go to Cadiz and return. ALL OF 7 MILES!!!

Beginning in January of 2026, the Trigg County Historical Society will meet at 6pm on the 2nd Tuesday of each month.
