A shoplifting investigation led to drug charges for a Clarksville woman in Hopkinsville on Wednesday night.
Christian County Sheriff’s deputies say they were told of a possible shoplifting incident at Tractor Supply, with the individual running towards Fort Campbell Boulevard.
Deputies say they located 34-year-old Kristen Weatherford, who was under the influence of some kind of narcotic, and she was found to have a failure to appear warrant.
She was also reportedly found to have suspected fentanyl in her hoodie. Weatherford was arrested and charged with possession of fentanyl, public intoxication, and theft by unlawful taking.
