
A Hopkinsville man who was a convicted felon was found in possession of a gun on Sanderson Drive on Friday afternoon.
Hopkinsville Police say they were called for 46-year-old Jason Chilton, who appeared to be under the influence of some kind of substance and walking on Glass Avenue while possibly having a gun.
He was located on Sanderson Drive, and a gun was found in his pocket. Chilton was arrested and charged with possession of a handgun by a convicted felon, carrying a concealed weapon by a prior deadly weapon felony offender, and public intoxication.
