Jimmie L. Holland, age 72, of Hopkinsville, KY, passed away Sunday, November 2, 2025, at Jennie Stuart Health of natural causes.
Graveside Services will be at 2:00 PM on Thursday, November 6, 2025, at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery West with full military honors and burial to follow. Maddux-Fuqua-Hinton Funeral Home has been entrusted by the family to handle the arrangements.
Mr. Holland was born on January 7, 1953, in Ft. Campbell, KY, the son of the late Richard E. and Mildred L. Case Dunn. Jimmie proudly served and retired from the United States Army where he then became a truck driver retiring from Summit Trucking of Dallas, TX. He attended the Greek Orthodox Church in Franklin, TN. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife of 44 years, Katerina Gani Holland in April 2024.
Survivors include his son, Timmy (Pamela) Holland of Clarksville, TN; his daughters, Helena (Tony) Lucas of Charlotte, NC, and Tracey E. Leonard; his brother, Mike (Daniela) Holland of Hopkinsville, KY; his sisters, Sandra J. Lakin of Mountaintown, IN, Faye Lindsay of Greenfield, IN, Chris Holland of South Greenfield, IN; his six grandchildren; and his great-grandchild, Brian Jackson.
