A Pittsburg, Texas, woman and an Oak Grove man were charged with assaulting each other at a hotel on Naomi Lane in Oak Grove Sunday morning.
Oak Grove Police say 24-year-old Nakeil Gaston went through 26-year-old Robert Alexander’s phone, then choked him and assaulted him while he was sleeping.
Police say he then pushed and punched her before bear-hugging her to keep her from leaving. The two are reportedly boyfriend and girlfriend.
Gaston was arrested and charged with fourth-degree assault and second-degree strangulation. Alexander was also arrested and charged with second-degree unlawful imprisonment and fourth-degree assault.
