Families filled South Main Street in downtown Hopkinsville for an afternoon of Halloween fun, hosted by Hopkinsville Parks and Recreation. From 3:30 to 5:30 p.m., children in costume enjoyed free trick-or-treating along the route from 6th Street to 13th Street.

This year’s event also featured the new “No-Scare Square” at Founder’s Square, created in partnership with the Pennyroyal Center. The calm, family-friendly space offered a safe environment for children who may feel overwhelmed by traditional Halloween excitement, with areas for relaxation and access to community resources.

Sponsored by GEICO: Local Office, Pennyroyal Center, WKDZ/WHVO, and Historic Downtown Hopkinsville, the event brought the community together for a fun and festive Halloween afternoon.
