
Two women are facing multiple drug charges after a traffic stop in Lyon County last week.
According to Lyon County Sheriff Brent White, a deputy stopped a pickup truck on US 62 East around 4 p.m. Friday, October 24. He says an investigation led to the arrest of 60-year-old Margarita Roman of Cadiz and 34-year-old Brittany Harris of Eddyville.
Roman is facing several charges, including DUI, first-degree possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine), possession of marijuana, and third-degree possession of a controlled substance. Harris was charged with first-degree possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine), illegal possession of a legend drug, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Both Roman and Harris were lodged in the Crittenden County Detention Center.
