A Cadiz man was charged after a shooting on Linda Lane in Trigg County on Wednesday night.
Trigg County Sheriff’s deputies say 25-year-old Jordan Shemwell and another man got into a verbal argument that led to Shemwell firing a long rifle three times.
The man was reportedly hit with bullet fragments in the leg but refused medical attention.
Shemwell was taken into custody and charged with third-degree terroristic threatening, discharging a firearm across a public roadway, second-degree assault, and first-degree wanton endangerment.
