A home on Lafayette Street in Cadiz was damaged in a fire on Wednesday morning.
Cadiz Fire Department Chief Josh Holley says they were called for a fire at the home, and when they arrived, they found a small fire on the exterior of the home around the dryer outlet area.
The fire was contained by the quick actions of a Cadiz Police officer who arrived just before firefighters.
No one was injured in the fire, and the damage was contained to just the outside of the structure.
